We learned about Orange Shirt Day and the story of Phyllis Jack Webstad. We also read the story, When We Were Alone which was about residential schools.

Hello Families, Our Google Classroom is almost ready to go and our class code will be sent out by Monday afternoon! Students, please check your ____@educbe.ca account on Monday. Here are some useful links to help you become familiar with our virtual classroom: Getting started How to turn in an assignment Once you have access to our classroom, the week of April 6-10 learning plans will have been uploaded. Please have the activities submitted by 9 am the following Monday . For example, next week's assignments will be due by Monday, April 13th. As a grade team, we tried our best to keep these lessons simple and easy to follow. Some of the activities can be printed out if you'd like to do so. If you don't have access to a printer, that's okay! We tried our best to make the templates easy to replicate with pencil and paper.
