We had a presentation about the Calgary Drop In Centre, which is an organization that helps homeless people in our city. We will be learning about groups that help others as part of Social Studies. So far we have brainstormed: senior citizen homes, humane societies, Earth Rangers, and Doctors without Borders. Students can wear their Halloween costumes tomorrow (no masks are allowed). If students do not want to wear a costume, they are welcome to wear pajamas. Tomorrow afternoon we will be watching a movie. Students are welcome to bring a treat or snack for themselves to eat during the movie.
